This site looks great James, and this forum is a good idea. I thought I'd try it out.
I have a question you might be able to answer. I'm creating a website for work, which will make use of three frames. One is like a heading for the site which includes the logo, some graphics..links to other sections of the site. This frame will stay in place and not scroll when the main frame is scrolled. I have a left frame which is like a contents menu. My question is, do you know a way to make this left frame scroll with the main frame? I don't want it to have it's own scrollbar. I don't know if it's possible..but my boss wants this to be the style and unfortunately he also wants frames (which as you may know I hate! )
Personally, I'd rather make use of tables..(and still may, I just wont tell him they are tables until afterwards, when he says "hey, that looks really good!!")
I tried finding some information on the web about simultaneously scrolling frames, and found some DHTML code which I modified for my purposes, but still didn't work correctly.
Any ideas? |
